Automated Deployment

At one time or another, we've all sat through an InstallShield process or downloaded something from the Web that began installing itself, or installed something that was packaged using the Microsoft installer tool (packages with .msi file extensions).

When you can't deploy your applications simply by dragging the files from the development machine to the deployment machine, you need to use some extra tools to create deployment and installation packages to help distribute your applications.
