Deleting a List

It is important to know how to get rid of an obsolescent list or perhaps one created in error. Unlike the previous release, deleting a list only marks it as being removed. It doesn’t permanently remove the list from the database, and all the list items contained within it, even though no longer visible, are safely retained inside the list in the site’s Recycle Bin.

That said, the buyers at Wide World Importers are happy with their new Common Buyer Tasks task list and no longer need the Tasks task list that was created when the site was originally provisioned. In this exercise, you will delete the surplus list.
