Although Windows XP has changed many things, it still offers multiple customization options for shortcuts. You can add shortcuts, rename them, or configure their properties. Adding shortcuts in Windows XP is much like the process you have used in earlier versions of the operating system. Simply use the Start menu to locate the program and then right-click on the program name. In the context menu, choose Send To.
