Folder Options You Can Configure
You have already learned about some of the ways you can configure Windows Explorer's display via the View menu. Now you will learn how to configure some other interesting options like changing the icon or picture associated with a folder, as well as the type of folder. The type of folder determines what options Windows XP will allow you to perform on the folder or its contents, as well as some of the options available under the View menu. For example, if a folder is created using the Document template, you won't find the Filmstrip view available. That doesn't mean you can't store picture files in a document folder. It only means that the Filmstrip view won't be available for you to use.
