How to Use System Restore to Recover Previous Settings
Another powerful feature that Windows XP offers you is called System Restore. When you make major changes to your system by installing an application, by making application changes, by changing device drivers, and so on, the System Restore feature can help you back out of these changes in a nice clean way. System Restore is one of the better features on Windows XP when it comes to correcting your mistakes (or those of a software vendor on which you counted!).
