Recovering Individual Files from Backups
Your most common data recovery task is likely to be restoring individual files. This need arises after the "Doh!" moment when you realize you've deleted or modified a file that you meant to keep. If you have a backup available, the task is simple: You can restore individual files by using the same program (or suite of programs) you use for backing up files.
