To begin our look at the future of ground warfare, one of the first areas to look is the U.S. Army’s plan for transformation known as the Objective Force. The concept of the Objective Force is a “future full spectrum force: organized, manned, equipped, and trained to be more strategically responsive, deployable, agile, versatile, lethal, survivable and sustainable across the entire spectrum of military operations from Major Theater Wars through counter-terrorism to Homeland Security.”
