Equitable compensation means just that. You should be paid based on your value, not your time, not your presence. The value mindset trumps the money mindset.
WHY BASE FEES ON VALUE

Consulting, along with professional services such as accounting, legal, design, and for forth, have traditionally been based on time units—hours or days. Many lawyers still bill in six-minute increments. If you ask them a question about their bill, they begin the clock again! They’ll also submit an invoice for $10,000.50. the 0.50 being reimbursement for a stamp.
