I chose this book's title because I want you to know what you can achieve with a small but mighty team. The only thing that defines your business as micro is the size of your team. Your ideas, your impact, your vision — that's all BIG. As Kayse Morris has shown us, with a small and dedicated team and good systems, and by leveraging the incredible technology that's now available to us, the sky's the limit.

I've said it before: the most valuable resources to you as a course creator are your time and your energy. You are the face and the engine of your business. No one else can do it for you, especially if you've built your business on your personal brand. So you need to keep yourself happy and healthy and to protect your energy, because if you can't perform at your best you won't be of service to anyone.

There will be things in your business that only you can do. As for the rest, eventually you'll need to find other people to take over or you'll burn out or limit your growth. My franchise business got too big for me to handle emotionally. With 35 different locations and 120 staff, the weight of responsibility weighed heavily on my shoulders. I knew that if I dropped the ball, I'd let down a lot of people who depended on me, so I took everything very personally and held myself to ridiculously high standards, which eventually led me to adrenal fatigue, burnout and the consumption of way too much gin.
