MIMO Receiver Design: Detection and Channel Estimation
The previous chapter has described a number of space-time coding techniques, as well as some examples of MIMO receiver algorithms (see Section 6.5.2). In this chapter,
• we present a review of MIMO receiver architectures for linear uncoded STBCs, including suboptimal and near-optimal techniques,
• we give an overview of iterative detection in coded transmission schemes,
• we address the problem of MIMO channel estimation via a few introductory examples.
