Capturing the Moment
Let yourself be inspired by a moment of action in the life of a natural creature. Maybe you’d also like to reflect on human life and how we might act in our own moments of movement.
When you draw this bird, focus on its action and how it makes you feel, as well as what you see in nature. Reflect on the simultaneous strength and delicacy. For real-life examples, you could look outside your window to spot some birds flying, perhaps closing your eyes and imagining the movement of wings. Focus on the “here and now,” and notice what you feel.
