How’s Your Body?

Get started right away! As you read this book right now, what is your posture? Are you seated or standing? Don’t change your posture—not yet. Just become aware of it. Is your body aligned, or are you slouching in some way? Are there any areas where your body is tense where it doesn’t need to be? Don’t judge, just notice. How often throughout the day do you become aware of your posture like this? If you spend most of the day unaware, you can carry around lots of tension without ever realizing it. (See Chapter 1.)
