So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Basic PLC programs
To gain experience of using the Gx-Developer software and the FX PLCs, a range of
fairly basic programs will now be developed and tested.
These PLC programs could be used to replace conventional systems consisting of
relays timers and counters.
The following is a list of such programs, which will be used in this chapter:
1. TRAF1 – Traffic light controller.
2. FURN1 – Furnace temperature controller.
3. INTLK1 – Safety interlock circuit.
4. LATCH1 – Mains failure latch circuit.
5. COUNT1 – Extended time delay.
6. COUNT2
