Service science is the modeling of cocreative systems (Maglio et al. 2009). In any field of study such as biology, physics, chemistry, psychology, economics, marketing, and management, there is a science from which the field’s engineering, technology, and operations are derived. Every science precisely defines the scope of a field of study and the relations among the elements that fall within this scope.
