In this chapter, one- and two-dimensional shallow water ows with pol-
lutant transport are considered. The governing equations and their char-
acteristics are discussed. The details of the discontinuous Galerkin (DG)
formulation are presented. Finally, several tests are conducted to show the
applicability of the numerical model.
