Interfacial Energies of Typical Precipitate–Matrix Systems

The following tables contain calculated interfacial energy values as obtained from the GBB model described in Section 4.3. The calculations have been performed with the software MatCalc,1 version 5.51, the corresponding thermodynamic databases are listed in the tables.

It is important to note that the interfacial energy is a strong function of chemical composition of the precipitate, volumetric misfit, interfacial orientation, and so forth, and it is not easily possible to list all possible combination of cases.
