Let’s face it without fear of being pessimistic or even seeming defeatist. We’re scratching the bottom of the barrel as far as web development is concerned. There’s not much left that can be realistically added to make programming richer and more powerful in the current paradigm. The future of web programming will require that we pass through great change and at a number of levels.
