The purpose of this section is obviously to prevent drug
trafckers from using their dope money as leverage to obtain
control of businesses and corporations. This statute is quite
similar to the money laundering statutes, in that you will have
to prove two key elements: the investment or transaction, and
the illegal source of the funds.
Also of note is the phrase “establishment or operation of,
any enterprise.” This implies that if a drug trafcker were to
use or invest drug money in the continuing operation of an
