Allowing students to record audio

This is a very simple recipe that can be carried out using Moodle assignments, that is, through uploading files. It means that students are going to record their own voices and we can listen to their recording through the file that they upload. We can set guidelines so that students know how to create their recording.

Getting ready

It is time for our students to take a deep breath and talk. Now, we have to be clear in the way we ask them to say what we want to hear. Taking into account that our baseline topic in this chapter is music and sounds around the world, we can ask students to talk in their own English accent as the accent varies across different parts of the world.
