Rendering parts of a converted vector drawing

In this recipe, we will work with Inkscape. We have previously mentioned this software in the first recipe; we can download it from the following website: http://inkscape.org/download/?lang=eng. We have converted a .png into a .svg in the previous recipe, and we can add more SVG using the drawing options in Inkscape. After creating the graphic we will render some of its parts.

Getting ready

First of all, let's click on the Inkscape icon on our desktop, (or run the Inkscape software) because we need to use this software.
