Working with the Alfresco repository

In this recipe we work with the Alfresco repository. Although, it is enabled as a repository, we can use it as a portfolio as well. That is to say, we can store whatever we need in the cloud, and we can upload it to our Moodle course, without even having our device at hand. So, we are enabling a portfolio as a repository; it is similar to Box.net but the steps are different.

Getting ready

We need to create an account in Alfresco and upload some content in order to use it. So, we have to go to the website http://www.alfresco.com/tour, and create an account.
