Looptecture F in Minamiawaji, Japan, 2010 Endo Shuhei Architect Institute, Osaka, Japan
Endo Shuhei designed Looptecture F, a two-storey tsunamidisaster preventive control centre at the Port of Fukura. The form is constructed out of a continuous 7.3 m (24 ft) wide steel ‘belt’, which intersects itself several times as it curves.
