Sharing Your Calendar
You learned a lot about the Calendar app in Chapter 2, including how to navigate the Calendar interface, create an entry, and create a reminder, and you even learned how to invite people to events you create. One thing you didn't learn is how to share your calendar with others. You may need to do this to keep a boss or co-worker informed about your appointments, or to enable them to write to the calendar as engagements arise.
Although there are various ways to share calendars, this one is the most straightforward:
- From a computer, using any web browser, log into your Google account.
- Click Calendar.
- In the left pane, locate your calendar, and click the down arrow beside it; click Share This Calendar. See Figure 10-11.

- If desired, select Make This Calendar Public; otherwise, under Share with Specific People, type the email addresses of those you want to share your calendar with.
- For each person added, set permissions. See Figure 10-12.
- Click Save.
