Sharing Your Google Docs

You can share your Google Docs with others from your Xoom or a desktop computer. I find it easier to configure the sharing options when I upload the documents from my computer, and you may, too. However, you can share your Google Docs from your Xoom, but you'll have to do that using the Desktop version of Google Docs.

SHARING A PRESENTATION OR SPREADSHEET

To share a presentation from your Xoom, do this:

1. Access Google Docs.
2. Tap the presentation or spreadsheet to share.
3. For a presentation, tap the Zoom Out button to gain access to the option to view the file in Desktop Version. (Figure 10-17).
4. For a spreadsheet, tap the Go to Spreadsheet option.
5. If prompted, tap Continue to Desktop Version.

6. Wait while the presentation or spreadsheet loads.
7. Tap Share and tap Sharing Settings (Figure 10-19).
8. Type the email addresses of people you'd like to share with, and tap Share. Continue as desired.
9. Tap Close (Figure 10-20).

SHARING A DOCUMENT

To share a document from your Xoom, follow these steps:

1. Access Google docs.
2. Tap the document to share.
3. Tap Edit.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and tap Desktop. ...
