Chapter 4. Delivering on Work Projects

In Chapters 2 and 3, we discussed becoming a specialized generalist and building some associated skills. Among the latter are task lists, the ability to form overviews of unfamiliar areas, IT, and so on. These are the toolkits of people who move up the value chain.

In this chapter, I look at the delivery of work projects. On-time delivery of work is something we can all do and is another good habit of the self-made wealthy. If you want to build a reputation for yourself in any organization, a good way to do it is by successful delivery time after time.
