What is a MIDI sequencer?
A MIDI sequencer is a device that can be used to record, edit and play back MIDI data. Most MIDI sequencers are based around a software program that is designed to run on a computer. These programs offer many different ways to display and manipulate MIDI information and provide a convenient way to capture and store your musical ideas. Note: in order to use a computer and a MIDI sequencer you will need to have the relevant MIDI sequencing software installed before you start.
