Modifying the Home Button

Press the Home button once and you'll always see the Home screen. Press the Home button twice and you can view one of five screens:

  • The Home screen

  • The Search screen

  • The Phone Favorites screen

  • The Camera screen

  • The iPod screen

The Home screen displays icons for all the programs available on your iPhone such as Maps and Safari. The Search screen lets you search for information stored on your iPhone, such as a name in the Contacts program or a song title. The Phone Favorites screen displays the names of people you call most often. The Camera screen allows you to take photos with the iPhone's built-in camera.
