Chapter 6. Rearranging Icons on the Home Screen

The Home screen displays icons for all the applications and features available on your iPhone. To view the Home screen, press the Home button on the front of the iPhone.

Since you'll often be starting at the Home screen when using your iPhone, you may want to customize its appearance by rearranging icons on the screen, moving them off of (or on to) the main home screen pane, or deleting certain programs altogether.
