Modifying the iPod Icons

The bottom of the iPod screen displays icons you can tap to access your playlists or video files. By default, you'll see five icons:

  • Playlists

  • Artists

  • Songs

  • Videos

  • More

If you don't use an icon very often, you can remove it and replace it with an icon that you use more often. Up to four icons can appear at the bottom of the screen at a time. (The More icon always remains on the screen.)

To modify an iPod screen icon, do this:

  1. From the Home screen, tap iPod. The iPod screen appears.

  2. Tap More. The More screen appears.

  3. Tap Edit in the upper-left corner of the screen. The Configure screen appears, as shown in Figure 21-5.

    The Configure screen lets you choose which icons will appear at the bottom of the iPod screen.
