You can happily browse the Internet with your iPhone through your cellular phone company's network, but doing so may be slow. For faster Internet access, latch onto a Wi-Fi network if one is in range. Many public places, such as airports and coffeehouses, now offer Wi-Fi as a free service, and there's a good chance that you may also have a Wi-Fi connection at home (or you may be in range of an altruistic neighbor's network). When you're using Wi-Fi, you'll enjoy higher speeds than you're likely to get from your cell phone network.
