Additional Ideas for Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network

Even if you don't have a Wi-Fi network of your own, you might as well take a few moments to learn how to configure a Wi-Fi network on your iPhone. This information can be h andy later when you do need to connect to a private Wi-Fi network at work or at home.

A Wi-Fi network gives you faster Internet access for browsing web pages, viewing YouTube videos, or downloading apps from the App Store. In general, you'll want to use a Wi-Fi network for greater speed and rely on your cell phone company's network only if Wi-Fi is unavailable. By knowing how to configure a Wi-Fi connection and switch between connections, you'll be able to keep your iPhone connected to the Internet wherever you go.
