Backing Up/Restoring and Exporting/Importing Contact Records

To provide security against phone-related disasters or in preparation for switching to a new phone, you can back up your Contacts data to a memory card, built-in memory, or a SIM card, or you can merge the data with your Google or Samsung account.

You can also use export/import procedures to manually move copies of contact records from your computer-based email clients and address book utilities into Contacts.
