Although it would be enormously convenient, it's unreasonable to expect that everything relevant to a testing and tuning engagement will remain static throughout the project. It is more than likely that nothing will stay the same, actually. Systems and data change, SAP configurations and screens change, and therefore scripts and the test infrastructure used for testing are also subject to change.
