It takes courage to speak up, especially with someone who matters to you or who seems to have all the power. It’s hard to voice your thoughts or needs when you see things differently than everyone else does.

In this chapter, you’ll develop your partnership with courage. While individuals with courage may feel fear, they take a risk—and do or say what needs to be done or said. They conquer their hesitation and step outside their comfort zone.
