9.1 Seeing the Invisible: The Hidden Organization
An organization’s hidden culture is one of the most interesting (and confusing) areas of understanding for any new company employee, not just for engineering organizations but for any collection of individuals in any line of work or play. Illogical, obscure, surprising, veiled, startling and sometimes upsetting, a hidden culture exists within all companies and firms, invisibly operating at all levels and at all times.
