Scope Creep: Runaway Train or Good Business?

Scope is the sum of the products and services to be provided as a project (as defined by the Project Management Institute). Scope usually means the function elements (i.e., the features) of a project, but can also include schedules and costs. Scope creep is the change—typically the expansion—of the originally committed scope of a project.
