The Data Collection Plan

Figure 3-2 presents a tool that is useful for organizing your data collection and for keeping your four thought processes separate. The second column in the plan is intended for you to insert your data collection questions; in the next column, you will insert a potential data source for each question. In the fourth column are listed all of the potential data collection methods that could be used to address the question and access the source, and in the final column the ultimate data collection method decision is listed. In this chapter, you will work on completing the second and third columns. You will then complete the plan in the next chapters.
