Appendix C. Using the Live Linux CD
A live CD is an entire computer operating system on a removable disc. The CD can be booted directly on most standard PCs, ignoring the contents of your hard drive, and run as a desktop, server, or other specialty kind of system. The Ajax Construction Kit live CD included with this book contains elements of all three. Using this live CD, you can run all the book’s examples live, follow along with the code as you read the book, and modify the code to reuse later.
