First and foremost, I thank my wife, Lindsay, from the bottom of my heart. Taking on the project of writing such a large book during our first year of marriage was not an easy decision to make, and perhaps not a wise one, considering what a time-consuming project this ended up becoming! Almost a calendar full of holidays, both of our birthdays, and even our one-year anniversary passed by, and all the while I was writing. Yet through it all, Lindsay remained inhumanly patient and understanding while I toiled through the evenings and late nights that I should have been spending with her.
