Appendix A. International Survey of Netsourcing Customers

Throughout this book we have inserted results from an online international survey of current and potential netsourcing customers. The survey was a collaboration between Ramses Zuiderwijk from Erasmus University and ourselves. The survey was sponsored by CMG. In this appendix we describe the research method and survey respondents to help readers understand how our findings were generated.

Research Method

The survey was designed on the basis of a drivers' framework based on the notion that customers' expectations and their netsourcing choices are motivated by five leading drivers:
