One of the most important questions in the early stages of the implementation is how the organization would like to see operational and financial results. Of course, you can see the general ledger impact through the COA and the financial reports, but often a high-level view does not have the detail necessary for decision making, and the G/L is not the place for every detail of the business, nor does it provide the trending data you might require.
