In addition to the n ordinary tables, an OpenFlow switch also pre-
sents a group table, which specifies actions to a group of flows. is
table has a special description to allow the use of broadcast, multicast,
and anycast primitives. A group table entry consists of the fields speci-
fied in Figure 5.8.
e group identifier is a 32-bit field that specifies the group num-
ber. e counters work in a way similar with the counters of ordinary
forwarding tables, storing group statistics. e action buckets are a
