with real hardware including two TPNDs and four PXC, as shown in
Figure 14.21. In the data plane, four OF-PXC nodes integrated with
DWDM multiplexer (MUX)/demultiplexer (DEMUX) optical filters
were used. Two optical transport channel unit 2 (OTU2) (10.7 Gbps)-
based OF-TPNDs were attached at OF-PXC1/PXC2, and a shared
OF-REG was deployed at OF-PXC4. Two OF-Rs were connected to
