and the Tx/Rx in the OF-MOTP is based on Nyquist-wavelength
division multiplexing (WDM) [73] and coherent detection. e use
of aggressive optical prefiltering with a spectrum shape approaching
that of a Nyquist filter, together with a square spectrum, minimizes
the required bandwidth to a value equal to the channel baud rate. For
example, the required bandwidth for a 400-Gb/s flow with the modu-
lation format DP-QPSK is 112 GHz (i.e., 448/4) [68]. erefore, the
