Most Fluke Networks tools used for examples and screen captures in this book are briefly described in this appendix. For more information, visit the Fluke Networks web site (www.flukenetworks.com/). The information here only illustrates examples for the types of tools available for maintaining networks. Many other fine products are available from Fluke Networks and other vendors.
The tool best suited for a particular person will depend on many factors, but most importantly the following:
• Skill and knowledge level of the user
• Job the user is performing
• Level of access to infrastructure devices (do they have the password?)
