Setting up Accounting
Accounting is configured in a fashion similar to authorization. After a method list is set up, it needs to be applied to the interface or line on which the accounting is to take place. As before, the exception is the accounting method list named 'default'.
Setting up a Method List
A method list needs to be set up that defines the services for which accounting needs to take place and a list of methods to use.
Here is what the generic accounting method list looks like:
Router(config)#aaa accounting {system | network | exec | connection | commands | resource level} {default | list-name} {start-stop | stop-only | wait-start | none} [method1 [method2...]]
