ABSTRACT

The application of neural networks, a rapidly evolving technology used extensively in defense applications to nuclear power plants has the potential to enhance the safety, reliability and operability of these systems. The work described here deals with modeling of nuclear power plant systems or parts of these systems that can be isolated.
