Facilitating Small-Group Activities

Prepare the group by writing brief and specific instructions on a flipchart. Explain where they are to gather, what they are to do, and how much time they are allotted. During the activity, circulate among the groups and sit or kneel for a few minutes with each to check their progress. Provide a two-minute warning near the end of the allotted time so that groups can arrive at conclusions on time.
