Using the Accompanying CD

You will find the handouts and tools included in this chapter and in chapter 11 on the CD that accompanies this workbook. To access these files, insert the CD and click on the following file names:

• Tool [number].pdf

• Handout [number].pdf

To print out the materials for your orientation session, follow these simple steps. Insert the CD and click on the appropriate .pdf file name to open it in Adobe Acrobat software. Print out the pages of the document(s) you need.

In this chapter, the slides referred to in each of the learning activities are numbered according to the order in which they appear in chapter 7. You can access individual slides by opening the PowerPoint presentation New Employee.ppt.
