Objectives

The objectives of this activity are to help participants

• increase their familiarity with people, places, and things in the organization

• create a sense of teamwork

• become familiar with the physical layout of the building.

Materials

The materials needed for this activity are

• Handout 10-6: Organizational Scavenger Hunt Search Sheet

• Tool 10-6: Sample Scavenger Hunt Memo

• map of the building

• pen or pencil for each team

• items that you want the teams to collect (for example, business cards, brochures, forms, and so forth)

• your choice of prizes (optional).

• 60–75 minutes
